Dian Sastrowardoyo, from What's up with Love to The Real One

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The romantic relationship between the actress Dian Sastrowardoyo and the businessman Maulana Indraguna Sutowo is getting serious. On Sunday evening, Indra accompanied with his family visited Dian's house in Kemang, South Jakarta to propose the lady of his heart.

Along with his family,the well-known entrepreneur's son  Adiguna Sutowo carried 21 items of dowry. The were welcomed with the tradition from South Sumatera begun with the tapak sirih custom.      

The procession was continued with nyawang custom in which the man tied wool rolls to be worn by the woman. Nyawang is a form of love expression before the couple get married. This is represented by the mixed of red, black, and white wool as a hope that the couple can be united.

After joining the engagement session by exchanging rings, Dian and Indra greeted the journalists. "So far I did not mean to cover up our relationship as in accordance with the custom we are not supposed to publicize it before it comes real," uttered Dian.  

"We have already had the relationship for two years. We keep it closed instead of exposing it," said the actress who starred "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?" (What's up with Love).

"One thing for sure is I am ready for it. During the last Ramadhan month, Indra mentioned his intention to me. It was a big surprise for me when he said that during the day in the month.

The marriage is scheduled in May.  "It's the agreement from our families that we had it on Sunday," she referred it to the reason to hold the engagement of Feb. 14 or on Valentine Day.

"He is a hard worker, obedient, clever, determined and eligible to be a good leader," replied her on the question of the points that make her attracted to Indra.

While Indra said that he will not restrict Dian's career on entertainment. "I've got my own career and she has her own. We mind our own careers."
