Anang's Daughter Gives Green Light to Syahrini

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com —  Whether she feels sorry for her dad or maybe she misses a mother's loving care, Titania Aurelia Nurhermansyah or Aurel, has given the green light for her dad, Anang Hermansyah, to find a new mommy.

Is it true? Anang confirmed it. "Yes, she (Aurel) did say, "Dad, I want a new mom', but it's not that easy," he said with Syahrini, his duet partner, next to him. They had just attended an event at Plaza Semanggi, Jakarta, Wednesday evening.

Anang believes that it takes a process to find the right soulmate. His experience with Krisdayanti has definitely taught him enough. Not wanting to fail a second time, Anang is now more careful in selecting a spouse.

When asked about his intimacy with Syahrini, Anang didn't deny it. However, their relationship so far is only as colleagues. Syahrini agrees with this. As a duet partner, she commented, they need chemistry, especially on stage. "Naturally a duet partner must be in synch. It would be absurd if Anang went one way while I stayed behind. For sure, on stage we have to be close."

Anang's relationship with Syahrini lately has gone beyond stage performances. The relationship will surely be more intense because Anang is in the middle of preparing his second single album and also taking care of Syahrini's solo album.

The pleasure of working together is mutual among them. Anang admitted he is pleased to be able to work with Syahrini, the beauty born in Bogor, West Java. "Just to be able to sing duets with her pleases me very much."

"I also enjoy my duets with Anang," Syahrini added.

Regarding their deepening relationship, Syahrini said that she didn't want to over-fantasize. "Right now I'm not in the capacity for dreaming. The 2010 working target is the main priority. So dreaming about it (marriage) should be set aside first. Lots to do, especially in preparing my second solo album."

Is it true that Syahrini is now close with Aurel and that there's a positive sign? Anang didn't say no to that. As his duet partner, Anang often invites Syahrini to his studio, which is where he and his two children are residing.

"About being close with Aurel, well you can see for yourself. They know each other. But so far I've advised the kids, although Aurel has been asking for a new mom." (EH/C17-09)
